In what way is it better ? 9_9 You will see a tiny increase in performance. There are also reports of poor overclocks with the 6800K.

its better because you will see an increase in performance? you said it yourself. And there are reports of poor overclocks on alot of CPUs.... silicon lottery is a bitch. my 6700k flat out refuses to go above 4.6 tons of people get 4.8 or even 5.0 one or two people saying its a bad overclocker is hardly a good sample size.

Every new cpu release brings a small increase in performance otherwise it wouldn't be worth releasing would it ? If you think it is worth the extra $70-$90 then that is up to you. I personally don't think it is.

you're comparing it in the wrong way. if you look at JUST the price of the cpu, you're right in that 80ish bucks wouldn't be worth a 5-10% upgrade. but if you look at the whole system, a 2000 budget.... paying less than 5% more for a 5-10% better better computer seems completely sensible and sane to me.
