Hackentosher

Now I don't think this exists, but does anyone know of a component, probably pcie card, that would provide USB ports that supported qualcom quick charging?

Why? I purposely charge through my computer for the slower charging rates.

Just did a quick google search on this and found nothing relevant. All were external normal power connected.

Less heat which in turn means a healthier longer lasting battery.

I don't and generally would not suggest doing such a thing. If it is such a pain, can you not just get a wall plugin to keep at your desk?

I don't think that's really possible with my setup, I'd prefer to have it on my rig.

If you want to look at modifying your PSU to allow this, you may want to ask in the PSU forum.

Nah, I was thinking about using a molex connector (those are nice because they neatly have 12 and 5v on them) or use one of the on board usb ports on my z87x oc.
