So Im getting an h115i(or h110i) and Ive seen tons of different opinions and answers on where to plug the pump into. People say dont plug it into the cpu header cuz it may not give a constant 12v 100% speed based on temps, and to instead plug it into a molex and such. The x99 asus boards also have the w_pump headers that would give 100% at all times and I could put the fans on headers or directly into the psu. Either way, what are my best options? Where/how should I hook this thing up so I dont mess up my rebuild, mind you it would be hooked up and Id still need to install windows, so Id have to monitor and adjust sfuff righr in the bios. Where the heck do I plug it in

The H115i is powered via 12V sata so the fan cable is only for an RPM reading which would be best to keep on the CPU so it gives a warning to the system if it were to fail or stop one day.

So I see the two fan plugs and the sata, whats the smaller one for? The warning readings and such? And if I plug the two fans into molex to psu I guess I wouldbt be ablr to control fan speeds via corsair link hub?

The small header (most bottom on the picture) goes on your CPU fan header. It reads out your pump speed.

If you connect the fans directly to the molex they would run ful speed i guess. You won't be able to control the speed doing so.

Corsair link works via a USB connection so it should let you control the two fan connections as a whole, but as said the smaller 3 pin fan with one thin wire is your RPM line for the pump.

Now I also see some ppl saying u dont ever want ur pump to slow down and it should always be doing 100%? Thats why they dont plug that one wire into the cpu_fan cuz it may slow rhe pump down depending on temps? Do I want the pump to be at 100% at all times?

It won't slow down it's just an RPM reading/line it's not capable of controlling the pump in anyway, the only thing you can do to control it is if Corsair Link allows that as an option which I don't believe it does for this version.

So, plug the single wire connector to cpu_fan, sata to a sata cable, and the fans to either A) Molex from psu, B) Fan headers on mobo, or C) I believe I can plug the fans directly on the h110 itself to he controlled by corsair link right? If so, which of these options wouldnu use.

I would say to connect them to the two header from the AIO unit to use Corsair Link if that is your control software of choice. Just remember the AIO has USB connection that needs to be made with a cable that comes with the unit for corsair link.
