microcenter return on gpu

so if i return my 980 to microcenter that was purchased 11/2014 which still has a 2 yr warranty to upgrade to a 1080 what do i say to them for the return since the card wont actually be broke per say lol

Pretty sure returns are a 30 day window most of the time...

well i plan on going in claiming that it failed of course not a straight return and the microcenter near me doesnt carry 980s anymore so. my G Sync monitor just failed over the weekend and it was past its 30 days and they took it back without any question didnt even look in the box to make sure it was the right monitor lol

Do you think they'll just give you your money back? Pretty sure they wont do that. Also are you planning to break the card to be able to return it?

no i do not, as they didnt even test the monitor i returned to see if it really was broken didnt check the box or anything just took it without any question whatsoever
