Probably, but try at your own risk. The 212X is 158mm, and the Versa23 officially supports heatsinks up to 155mm. The beQuiet Pure Rock and Cryorig H7 are in the same weight class and stand 155mm and 145mm tall respectively.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

I've actually seen pictures from people who cut holes in the side of their case to make a garden variety heatsink like a 212 EVO or Thermaltake Frio 14 fit. It gives me the sads. :(

I thought about doing that on my own build. Instead I just leave the side panel off. Better thermals that way too.

Anything with a clearance of 158mm or greater is guaranteed to support it.

Yes, it fits and has been done many times before. The spec for cooler clearance is conservative for the case.
