So I was trying to use the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft to make an iso of Windows 10. But regardless of what I do it has an error code that appears to be the same.

I tried with my 4GB flashdrive and my 8GB flashdrive. With the 8GB one, I tested it with NTFS, FAT32, and exFAT and none of them seemed to work. I was even trying with just creating an ISO and would use another program to make it bootable.

Also I had tried the gwx.exe upgrade but it had been stuck on 92% for over half an hour and then was stuck on restoring previous Windows version for quite some time as well. Fortunately it was able to restore back to Windows 8.1. So I figured I'd just go try with the hard route and just do a fresh install by the advice of many, like @byalexandr.

The pretense of that whole ordeal was mostly that Windows had decided to schedule an update for last night. I was like okay sure, there isn't much reason not to upgrade.

I think that if I do manage to get the ISO from Microsoft. I'll probably want to make another bootable Linux USB drive too just to be safe in regards to Windows 10's install messing up after the format of the HDD.
