GTX 690

There is 690s going for below £200 on eBay. Would a 690 be good in 2016? From what I have read, it is close to 980 in performance.

i would wait and get a RX 480

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

there's a reason nVidia stopped producing dual GPU cards

it won't play nice with DX12 and has only 2GB of VRAM per GPU

 

the upcoming RX 480 would be a better choice

Better off buying a used 970 or waiting for the rx 480
