Hello, I am going to build my first PC for 4K gaming and I need it for work (video editing). I am going with mini case because I am moving 1-2 times in a year, so it will be easy to move with a mini case. I would like to hear your thoughts, thank you!

I would highly recommend that you look into the x99 platform. It will give you more multi-core power, which will help a lot with video editing and rendering. You may also want to consider getting multiple SSDs so that you can use one as a scratch disk. It will help a lot with scrubbing times while editing.

I am going with 1070 from MSI, I just added that on, because there no 1070 available yet. I am going to be play on the Wicher 3, FFXIV (mmo), bioshock, Mortal Combat, Overwatch and some more mmorpg.

My budget is 1600$

Is x99 ok for gaming? It's my first time building a PC, so I don't really know much about parts, was always using laptops.

Thank you for your answers!

But will it be easy to transport that case? With 380T, you can take it and go, but with that tower, you need to put it in something and etc.

with my build, I am hoping to enjoy games and for 3-5 year (without upgrading) and when I will stop moving every year, I will change to normal size case.

Thank you!
