Below is a screenshot of a compatibility note that PCPartPicker gave me after combining the MSI Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard and  Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case.

Here is the screenshot ---> Screenshot of compatibility note

If you can't click that link, this is what the compatibility note states

- MSI Z170A GAMING M5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.

- The Cooler Master HAF 912 ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 390mm long, but video cards over 270mm may block drive bays. Since the Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card is 280mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

So if you may, please explain what it means and what I should be worried about with these parts together. Thanks!

First note means that your mobo supports USB 3.0 but your case do not have physical USB front OI ports. Thought you could still plug USB 3.0 devices in the back IO.

Second note states that your cards is so long that it might block the use of certain drive cages, where you put your HDDs. Meaning that unless you can remove such drive cage you might not be able to fit the card.

Thanks a bunch! I don't mind having to use back ports anyway, and the case does let me remove cage drives, so that won't be a problem. Again, thanks for the explanation =)

By the way the regarding the cages, I just read the full spec list, since you case says it fits card up to 390mm, just like my case, it probably means you can just remove said cage to make room for your card. So no, no need to stress about that, I had to do it myself to fit it in my case (define r5)
