Gigabyte gtx 1080 g1 gaming. not working!

Hello guys. i just got my Gigabyte gtx 1080 g1 gaming today, BUT everytime im trying to play a game or staritng a becnhmark system it says that there is no graphics car or graphic card not found. i checked it multipy times if its in corectly, but it stills says no graphics card found...PLEASE help me

i spent $3500(23,000dkr.) on building my pc and i only play csgo on low settings..

How did you manage to get one so early? I don't even see it for sale yet at newegg.

Is your monitor actually plugged into the gpu?

i pluged the only caple i have from the screen in the gpu, so yes i gues?

Try this. Use the Display Driver Uninstaller utility to uninstall all drivers you find, then freshly install the latest driver from the geforce page.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

Don't use the drivers on the disc. Get then from Nvidia website.

The funny thing is, if you didn't have drivers there your monitors would be forced to run at a very uncomfortable 800x600 resolution.

Well, theres drivers from the disk that don't work (Partly Gigabytes fault) and the fact a decent number of GPU's are doa

But if the part about driver discs not working is true that's pretty unacceptable. Although it makes little sense to even include those disks these days.
