Hey all,

so yesterday I downloaded Overwatch and noticed that my RAM usage has been through the roof. now I don't the problem persists even when overwatch is not running, however, I haven't experienced this issue before.

I have 8Gb of RAM in my PC and usually has chrome, spotify, and either overwatch or league of legends running, and a few other light programs running in the background. Before I used to be able to have 10+ tabs open on chrome while in a game of league without a problem, but since i downloaded overwatch, my RAM usage hasn't dropped below 85% and i have no idea why. As of right now i have 14 tabs on chrome open with the league of leegnds client open (not in a game) and my RAM usage is 88%,  CPU usage at ~30% and disk usage at ~1%. I've never had this problem before. what should I do?

specs: intel i5 4690k

           8gb RAM

           128gb ssd

           1tb hdd

            gtx 960

open taskmagager as a admin and sort by memory usage.

The weird thing is that when i do that and list it in a way to see what programs are using most memory this is what it looks like https://puu.sh/pfNtK/192970ce99.png

that doesnt look like it adds up to 8gb at all

Is there anything else you downloaded or installed that could have given you a virus?

Thy hath sinneth, and in thy life thou hast fallen to an unholy, unspeakable level of humanity. Thou hast given into your basest needs. And suffered many years under thine Satan-box. However, if thine be willing, as thy hast show yourself to be, thy can ascendeth into thy glorious fold of the glorious church. not that i can think of. I do not have any anti-virus software just because I had bad experiences with the free ones that i tried and I never felt like i needed one. can you recommend a good program so that i can run a disk scan

Try MalwareBytes. A scan and removal of malware is free, the 'premium' version really just gives you features you don't need.
