Hi guys!

I have a sort of old, cheap membrane hp keyboard that unfortunately I have to use every night to write various stuff. With time my most used keys have become somewhat loud, to the point that my parents that sleep on the other side of the wall complained I was making too much noise while writing during the night. Do you guys know any old tricks to minimize this sort of issue? My keypad keys are still smooth and silent but almost all the letters, caps lock and especially the space bar are quite loud indeed. And no, I do not stroke the keys too much, I'm not a monkey on the keyboard.

P.S- I really did not want to spend money buying a keyboard right now, was just hoping to minimize the issue for now. And yes, already have a sort of towel underneath it, it seems to have made no difference whatsoever :(

Thank you!

Can't thing off anything for a membrane keyboard but for mechanical keyboards there are o-rings maybe something similar but then for a membrane keyboard ?

Also depends What kind of keyboard do you have? since i have one of these cheap HP keyboards which is very flat and make less noise than a tall keycap one.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

You could buy a key silencer kid like this below:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3FA3ZT9564&cm_re=Key_Silencer-_-26-994-047-_-Product
(US website, ik, but you should be able to buy them from roccats EU website as well.)

Yes, the username is cringe.
