Coolant choice

Good evening!!

 

Here in the next week or so I will be re-doing my lines on my Swiftech H220 to go from the standard black to a clear tubing : http://www.swiftech.com/TruFlextubing-1.aspx 

 

I need some assistance in choosing the replacement liquid for inside. I will be using Distilled water, so I will need a biocide and a Dye. I want it to be a rich red color to match the rest of my build. My case is a corsair Vengeance C70 with a custom light Smoke window from MNPctech with white LED lighting inside.

Looks like it comes with some Sysprep to flush it out and some Utopia Biocide already. I guess all I need to figure out is the color dye portion. Is Mayhem still the best to go with?

For dye mayhems makes some really good ones another option is to go with something like the X1 series of premixed fluids which you just add the required amount of distilled water to and it has everything in it to go.

So I got my Mayhems pastel in today from Amazon, but sold and shipped from OutletPC and here is how it looked... Extremely disappointed. I sent them a message through amazon regarding this with these very pictures. Awaiting a response currently, but can't say how much I am disappointed in this

Haha the mailman must have been weirded out, bright red fluid leaking from package...  

Hopefully they just send you a replacement bottle without hassle.

Yea... the bottle itself was still sealed so it seems the cap is faulty as there didn't appear to be any type of rubber o-ring to seal it. The bottle itself is still 3/4 full so there is plenty of liquid left, but yea, very surprised it only came in a padded package instead of a box with padding around it as well.

I ordered directly from both Mayhem and Performance PC.  My bottles come in a ziplock bag and had tape all around the top and seal to avoid leaking.  I have ordered about a dozen bottles over 4 years and never had an issue.

 

Someone in shipping doesn't know how to ship liquids.

Alright, got my replacement bottle of Mayhem Pastel Red. Put in my Primoflex Advanced LRT clear tubing. Looking good except for I broke on of the barb clamps  so I actually used a normal hose clamp lol, works.. doesnt look the best, but it works.
