Building Apps from WordPress

Hello everyone, 

 

I'm looking for ways to create a mobile app from a WordPress website. Basically the website will be a school management application and will allow parents to login and check on their children's marks, attendance..etc

 

I am looking for a way to do it with some frameworks like ionic, cordova or phonegap. Also there is this tool called Appress. I want to know which is the best way to do it and if you have any other suggestions, please share them.

It should do the trick. But the client wants it to be a mobile app so he can market it as a benefit of the school.

The bad part about this is that they don't want all features of the website. They just want some functionality and push notifications which I don't think that this is doable by just embedding the website in an app.

Yes :D That is what I want to do. I just want to know which framework to use or what method is best for doing it with the least amount of time.

hey I know this is a little old now, but have you looked into using PhoneGap? I'm sure there is a plugin available for it that enabled you embed wordpress sites.
