Hello people of the internet. As the tittle explains I'm building my first pc and so far I started using PcGamer magazines guide to high end computer build.

I have Asus VI motherboard and an i7 processor.

Im looking for a pc with plenty of room to work in and room for fans.

I don't know enough about what to look for in a case to decide if its right for me.

I know the basics of what a mid ATX tower and stuff are.... But like when it comes to all the other stuff like.. drive  bays or

whatever else you can think of I don't know anything about that stuff and I don't want to gets a case that will

rob me of customization later.

Im making this post in a hurry and if anyone has any help or suggestions I will be more able to respond later.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your help.

I can nearly guarentee you don't need the motherboard of that spec... whats your budget, whats your uses, where are you buying (US, UK, CA, AUS? )

What kind of style do you like? do you want it to be silent or cool or balanced.

Do you want lights, window, big, small?

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Budget total is about 2000 dollars cause that round about meets the price range of the build I was first looking at.

As far as what I will be using this computer for it will be personal use. Your usual Big game titles on steam. As well

As league and MMOs in general. The computer will also be used for recording those games and editing.

I also want my computer to look nice as this is something Ill be sinking a bit of money in to and keeping for years to come.

Buying in the united states.

Style? Um something red and black, or just black with a nice side window. Plenty of room to work in and customization

for when I wanna swap out parts and work on it later on. Yes It needs to have a window for sure so I can see all

of my computers sexiness and as far as big or small... Id rather it be big than small.

Im not sure how loud custom computers usually run and all Ive

ever had was an ASUS republic of gamers laptop i got about three years ago with two side vents. It gets obnoxiously loud

and drowns out my speakers at times so I guess Im really looking for something that even with fans it will stay relatively

quiet when running games.

AS far as lights not in the case itself. From what Ive seen theyre pretty shitty. My motherboard has lighing for now. And those new

Corsair fans with lighting look pretty cool when I have money for more expensive fans.

For a Nice red and black, I would get the NZXT H440, which is a Sleek designed case with some highlights that can be changed from red or blue, and has a Nice and big Side window. The H440 also has some Great... Well Awesome cable management features in it, which are top of the line.

I'll not get into led's... you can sort that yourself, so what have you bought so far and how much budget if left?

Help explain L.E.D.s!!! Nah, if you say I should look into it myself I will. L.e.d.s arent something im going out of my way to look for.

If they just happen to come with a component thats cool and Ill deal with that if it happens.

so far I have the motherboard( http://www.amazon.com/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-LGA1151-Motherboard/dp/B0126R4F8W?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 )

and My processor ( http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Boxed-I7-6700K-Processor-BX80662I76700K/dp/B012M8LXQW?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 )

Both of these I bought out of eagerness because I had floating cash and wanted to get a start on things.

My budget for the rest of the build is between 1000 and 1500.

I'd go for something like this, though this is overkill unless your running games in either 4k or 2560x1440 at 120hz or similar, but you can pick and choose gpu as I would not reccomend the founders editions.. The card is just a price place-holder..

If you don't have a screen (or even if you do) you need to do a bit of research on what you want.. you could go gsync, free sync and up to 4k at 60fps (mostly) or 2560x1440 at 120.. there are lots of options... your screen res and refresh-rate and if it uses freesync or gysnc are 2 of the most important things when choosing the GPU (especially when you can afford nearly and gpu set-up)

Go look at videos or let me know what res and refresh rate your aiming at to get the GPU where you want it.

The phantecs evolv is sexy as hell to me.. if you want a small build they have a mitx version of this for 79 bucks too.

going for gsync. The moniter I have now was a cheap 120 27" inch moniter I got at walmart and I cant remember what its specs are sorry ;/

this is the moniter resolutiuon Im currently using 1920x1080, and Id like to keep it this high if not higher.

as far as refresh rate 60fps is normal but id like to have my moniter keep up with 120 fps when I want it too.

And holy shiz thanks for the build 030

Well for GPU, your looking at a 1070 to have ultra settings and get over 100fps basically always (till games catch up) and will drive many games in 1440 at good frames...

Really.. you need to do a bit of research into it and see what you want from res smoothness, colour(ips) and find a monitor / GPU combination that best meets your needs. You might find that the new RX480 and a freesync monitor gets you what you want for much cheaper.

But then 480 availability (launch date for end of June) and Nvidia's response with whatever the 1060 and such will be are still unknown.

How much of a hurry you are in to have great graphics or get the best deal / combination will dictate your choices somewhat

To sum up, try find the effect you want and match that to cost (whether it's gsync or free sync, (gsync has about a $250 premium)) the res and then look at reviews for cards at that res and pick the one that meets your needs best (or if constrained by ge-/ free-sync)
