I am looking forward to upgrade my existing pc and buy a new cpu, motherboard and ram. The thing is that I don't know how to check if they are compatible.

I thing the gpu doesn't matter when it comes to compatibility but I'm not certain. My current pc specs are:

  • CPU
    Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53GHz
  • RAM
    3 GB
  • GPU
    Nvidia GeForce 210 1024MB DDR3

I would like to upgrade to something a bit more powerful but not too costly.

Correct me if I made a mistake of some sort and I would gladly appreciate any suggestions:)

On PCpartpicker there is a built in compatibility check so just put in the parts you want to put together and it will tell you if they are compatible, also you don't have to put in the whole build just the parts you want.

Oh, thanks
