AMD Editing/Gaming Rig (Need some Help)

Hey guys, sorry if my english is a bit poor.

Well, i need some help for two reasons, i know AMD has a better price range, but at the same time i have no idea how to see which components are better compared with NVIDIA, etc. The other reason would be because my budget is about $600(only the hardware).

The only things i need to have is a 4gb video card and enough RAM for some reasonable video editing, nothing extreme consuming.

Please guys i would love to have some insights and ideas how to accomplish as soon as possible.

Thank you to everyone in here. Cheers o/
