Alright guys. I need help and suggestions.

I'm ordering an R9 380 for my current build (I will list the specs below)

  • CPU: AMD Athlon Quad core Richland 760k running at 3800mhz
  • RAM: 1x 8gb DDR3
  • Storage: Western Digital black  1TB 7.2k RPM hard drive
  • Motherboard: MSI A78M-E35 FM2+ / FM2 AMD A78 Micro ATX motherboard

Could I pull this off with my current Corsair CX430 PSU? Or do I have to upgrade?

I would not recommend it.

Not that you were wrong for getting the 430w powersupply in the first place. I donlt know that story. But if you want a recommendation for the future. 1. A 500w or 550w will work for most single cards w/ basic pc components. A 600w if you want to be that cozy. And if you're ever not sure there are calculators like this http://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/
