[Forum Game]Story time!

Apologies if there is already a topic like this, I tried to search for one, but I didn't find it.

 

This is the Story time forum game, that exist on almost every single forum of the interwebs. You are supposed to write a sentence, then wait for someone else to write something before you write another sentence. You are only allowed to write one sentence per post to add to the story. There is no rules other than that you should follow the community standards and also, do your best to make the story make sense, so don't just suddenly change the subject, go with the flow and eventually the story will come into a new subject on its own. I do recommend following this topic so you are able to keep track of the story and are able to make it somewhat sensible.

One upon a time, there was an old lady named Gertrude.

She was sitting alone in the tavern scowling at just about everything.

Noone liked her, as her name suggests, she was always rude to everyone.
