So I finished a website for a class I'm taking and the final step is to publish it to the internet. My Web host is iPage(it was the cheapest) and I'm using File Zilla to upload the files. Correct me if i'm wrong, but I'm supposed to transfer my files to the public_html file right? But the remote site (right side of the screen) is blank. I think they were all somehow deleted. So I have no files to put my files in. What do I do?

You should be able to make a public_html folder on the remote directory and then upload files. Make sure public_html has the permissions 755 by right clicking on the folder after you created it.

I'm a blogger, student, and developer. I love re-purposing old hardware such as PCs, routers, and phones.

I did and uploaded all the files to the folder. It still displays the same "under construction" error
