If you are hitting the 8GB full all the time, you should upgrade RAM, so that the system doesn't lag unnecessarely, you can check using MSI afterburner or Task Manager itself.

If you aren't peaking the 8GB, go for the SSD. Crucial is good manufacturer.

You can use Acronis, Clonezilla or Symantec Ghost. Personally I use Acronis since I already got a license for work. But I already have used Clonezilla without issues.

Or you can reformat your OS, it's always nice to get a fresh start. I format my OS evey once in a while, usually 6 months appart from one to another, keeps the OS snappy (especially cause my RAID0 doesn't support TRIM D:)

For manufacturers I've used Samsung, Corsair, Kingston and Adata. Right now I'm using two Kingston HyperX 3K. The only one's that have failed me were the Corsair Force 3, wich I abused quite a bit, one of the Kingstons original HyperX I had, the Adata SX900 is in my old notebook after 3 years (I traded it recently) and the Samsung 840 Pro is in my HTPC.

AData good?

I've used ADATA for a while, they are pretty trusty, the SX900 I've been using for 3 years is still working perfectly.
