Explorer Windows turning 'invisible'

This one is pretty simple. Every now and again, especially while playing BF4(seems to only be BF4 actually..) the game window will turn invisible. It will still show up in the tray, and when i click on it my mouse centers on screen and the audio plays. But 'game' window is not there. Im pretty sure its a hotkey combo im hitting but i never pay attention when i do it so i can never replicate it. I just have to close the game which has cost me some good round before. Seems like im moving it to another desktop but im not sure. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Just so I make sure I understand the question, if you use alt-tab to minimize BF4, you can't get back in no matter what you try?

Its not alt-tab thats doing it. if i use alt-tab i can get back into it no problem. Pretty sure its some combination of windows key + something else.

oh ok I think I know what's happening.  For some unknown reason, it is getting minimized, and you can use alt-tab to get back in but you're wondering why it "goes invisible".  I think your hunch about you accidentally hitting some key combo is right.  That, or it's some bug in the game or maybe another program on your computer trying to pop something up.

Exactly. Next time it happens, im going to see if its just sending it to another desktop. I have windows 10, (something i shouldve mentioned in my OP..) so it might just be creating a new desktop. Doesn't really explain why the icon is still in the tray but.. worth a shot.
