So, about a month ago I finished building my PC with the plan of upgrading in the future... and it's kind of the future...

So, with that being said; which should be upgraded first under a $400 budget.

CPU: Intel Pentium G4400 @ 3.3GHz

GPU: GeForce 750TI

PSU: EVGA 430W (80 plus cert if that means anything).

RAM: 8GB DDR4 2133 (G. SKILL)

Storage: 128GB SSD (forgot what brand. no need for a ton of storage for me; I've barely used 30gb of it).

Mobo: GIGABYTE Z170 HD3P

Thank you!

and if you could, provide an update line; as in, which to upgrade first to last.

Could I get a way with the top end 6th core i3 and a 970 (friend is selling to me for 120) and still be fine with the 430W PSU?

Still buy it though, $120 is amazing for an i3 and 970.

Edit: Do buy a new PSU though.

Thank you guys!

I do have a question. Is the current motherboard OK? It was the cheapest Z170 chipset mobo I could find.

It's alright. You wont notice much difference in fps. Maybe even no fps difference.

Main gaming pc: Lian-Li Lancool II Mesh Performance - Ryzen 5 5600X - MSI GTX1080Ti Armor - AMD Wraith Spire RGB - ASUS TUF Gaming B550 Plus - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2x8GB 3200MHz - 500GB M.2 (and a few other drives)

Gaming laptop: ASUS GL552VW: i7 6700HQ - GTX960M 2GB - 8GB DDR4 2166Mhz RAM - 1TB 7200RPM HDD

It won't. The mods on this forum watch us like the NSA and are not at all afraid to lock threads if someone even remotely does anything mean. If that happens this post will no longer be around and two people will be banned.

That's surprising.

All the forums that I've posted this question on, I have gotten called an idiot and noob and dumb because I didn't know the best route to take...

Thanks for all the help.
