Hey All,

I am building a computer for my nephew who is turning 6 at the end of June, well we will be building it together as I want him to learn... and I am hoping he will find it fun.

I am building him a very very budget PC, I have spare RAM, Heatsink, Storage and CPU.

So I just need a case, mobo, PSU and graphics card...

The games he will be playing are the lego games, sonic racing and those sort of kids games. It does not need to be able to play Crisis or Skyrim although if it can play some better games on low or even mid settings that would be great.

I've already got the motherboard and the CPU that I had spare is the FX-4320. I just need a really really budget graphics card. I'm talking around the £40-£50 mark so $58-$73

I am aware that is not a lot but he's 6 and with a budget of that much the PC is still costing me around £350 ($511) as I have to get monitor keyboard, mouse and yes even two console controllers. That's with me throwing in the CPU, Heatsink, RAM and storage.

Thanks guys

go look on the used market, you can get a GTX 760 for €60 here in Sweden so im sure there are some great deals were you live too :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

If the used part market doesn't work out - the r7 240, 250, 260 all are 'bang for buck' cheap cards.
You can find them all for less than $58 I'm fairly sure

Thank you all for the advice..  In the end I brought a new 750ti golden sample from gainward.

..  For double my budget at £105 Inc delivery.

.....  Because I'm an idiot,  not like the 6 year old would have noticed a difference from a 730 for £40
