Hello techies,

It's been a while since I have put interest in solving this issue, since I have a replacement CPU + Mobo configuration, but since it's quite a bit more powerful and has a good value, I'd like to look in to it once more together.

Specs:

CPU: i5 4590

Mobo: Asrock B85M Pro3

RAM: 2x2GB RAM from OEM PC that has never failed me!

Storage: Asrock SP900 128GB SSD

GPU: Asus Geforce GTX 660

PSU: XFX 430W 80+ Bronze (and in tier 2 of Tomshardware PSU tier list 2)

The Issue:

The CPU (i5 4590) can't run Java programs, if I launch a Java application with Java installed, it will give a mini-dump-not-enabled error, along with an always different error code.

Example Java heap dump (the "Problematic frame" error displays a different error each time): http://pastebin.com/6d4ZwZi4

What I've tried so far:

- I tested a VERY simular CPU - the i5 4690K (which is basically an overclocked, unlocked i5 4590) - which worked fine. My friend (owner of the i5 4690K) said it might be a Java memory allocation error.

- Multiple times of re-installing Windows 10 Pro (with and without network access)

- iGPU testing instead of dedicated GPU (GTX 660)

- Refitting connectors

- Using different storage device

- More RAM (8GB of Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer)

* - Followed multiple tutorials on how to enable mini-dumps

If you need any other information about the issue, please inform me.

Hope you can help out,
