My first Gaming PC build. Please help with parts

Hello, so in a few weeks I will be building my very first Gaming PC for $1500 AUD only getting parts from 2 stores.

Will these parts be good enough for recording Minecraft at 720p 60 FPS, playing Rocket League, Sonic Generations and maybe DotA 2. I don't mind what resolution I would play at though.

My parts

RAM: 16G Kit (8Gx2) 2666 Kingston HyperX FURY

CPU: i5 -6600k (Will be overclocking.)

CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Universal Hyper D92

GPU: 4G GTX 960 MSI GAMING

PSU: Thermaltake Smart Power 80+ Bronze 550

DvD Drive: LG (GP60NB50)

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250G (Games / Programs)

HDD: Seagate 3.5" Barracuda 1TB (Boot, other files)

Wireless Card: PCI-E TP-Link WDN4800

Case: NZXT H440 Black and Blue

MotherBoard: Asus Z170-P LGA 1151 ATX Motherboard

Thanks for taking a look at my build and helping me!

Ok, Then your build seems compatiable.

Get 8GB RAM instead of 16. Change the RAM to Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133Mhz. Get a Coolermaster 212 evo for cooling. Get a 650W PSU. Perhaps a Corsair RM gold certified 650W.

The NZXT H440 Black and Blue  case cannot take a DvD drive (I could be wrong about this).

Note that these are what I would personally change if it was my rig.

Nah, I don't really care about boot times as I have a really slow PC now, and I want my programs to boot really fast.

Whow man! That PSU might bottleneck the system! And the DvD drive will not go into that case.

The PSU you recommended is very overkill especially concidering that the pc only need less than 500w.

You won't get much of an overclock on a D92. Look for something a little beefier with a 140mm fan if your case can handle it, 120mm fan if not. The Cooler Master 212 EVO will inevitably be recommended, but look around and you'll find better and quieter for about the same price.

The GTX 960 isn't really a great GPU for gaming builds. The R9 380 and R9 380X perform 10-15% better and cost about the same (or less). You might also want to see what AMD rolls out with Polaris.

Put a nicer PSU in there. It's the one and only component that can take everything else with it if it dies. Seasonic, Corsair (RMi, RMx, higher-end) and EVGA's higher end stuff are solid picks.

Don't put your boot drive on your HDD lol. That completely defeats the purpose of having an SSD. If you look at a Mushkin, Micron or Adata drive instead of a Samsung, you can get much more capacity for about the same price.

Hope that helps.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Look at his PSU. It can hardly handle the system already.

Hence, a nicer one is in order? Like I said?

You'll be able to be on the desktop within seconds. I installed my os on the hard drive, should've not done that.

After I get to the desktop, it takes like a minute to get to YouTube after login on my current PC. Also I don't really care about boot times.
