I need a low cost low powered gaming systeem for my lil brother, i already have a r7370 so i was thinking to pick up a amd 5350, or should i get somthing els?

What kinds of games will he be playing?

The 860K is a quad-core processor, which goes a lot farther in gaming than a Pentium would. The G3258 gets the edge over the 860K usually only because it has a clear upgrade path to a 4690K/4790K and because it's overclockable.

 

Based upon the games you're looking at, I wouldn't go with a dual-core CPU. 860K it is unless you want to step up to a Skylake or Haswell i3. If overclocking isn't a concern to you, the Athlon X4 845 is a decent option, but the appeal of a low-end processor like that is the ability to take it from "blah" to "ok, this works," by overclocking.
