Hello! I built my first PC about 2 moths ago and the first time I used 3DMark Firestrike Extreme I got a 14000.  Lately, my GPU has gotten about 4 Celsius hotter.  I have the NZXT fan contoller and it's been hovering at about 24-25ºC and now it's been hovering at around 27-29ºC ideal.  Then I noticed it's a little slower, I did the Firestrike again and I got a 2000... WTF? I updated all the drivers and the BIOS, then I got a 4000 on Firestrike. Still, WTF? I replaced my SSD with an identical one with no OS I had laying arround from an old RAID I used to have.  I installed Windows 10, all the drivers and I got a 5000 on Firestrike...  I replaced the SSD once again to my old one and I tried booting into it.  I was able to get onto my desktop, I opened my browser looking for a solution, as soon as I clicked on a link, it freezed, slowly went into a blue screen and slowly displaying the error.  The error stopped loading at "Your PC went into a problem, we'll just re" There it stopped.  I tried booting it up again and the same thing happend but this time, the error name loaded: "WHEA_Uncorrectable_error" --> Windows has encountered an uncorrectable error... Now, it just doesn't boot at all... The fans spin, my keyboard lights up but the screen does not display anything...  Please help, I use my computer a lot for work and very important things... Please help! Thanks

My specs are:

CPU: 5930k (Non-OC)

GPU: PNY 980ti (Non-OC)

Motherboard: MSI Krait Edition SLI Ready (x99 chipset, duh)

RAM: 64GB DDR4 Ballistix 2400 Mhz (Non-OC)

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO M.2 (and a 2tb 5400rpm Samsung drive, did not use with the replacement SSD)

PSU: EVGA 750G1

Thanks again, I love you guys

check that all power cables are properly plugged in, AND DO CHECK, i helped a guy and he went "yah there fine i know" and didnt check and when he actiually looked the 24 pin was falling out of its socket on the motherboard xD so check that before anything because it sounds like it may have power problems and that might be why the gpu is struggling here :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

What am I supposed to see?

itf it shows nothing in that graph there is nothing holing you back, if there is any collor then hover over the graph and check what it says, Pwr: card dosent get enough power to preform better Thrm: the card is to hot to preform better Vrel + VOp: card hasent got enough voltage(tho this dosent have to be a limiter, my card says this but its fine) Util: limited by how much its used(strange reason IMO but whatever)

Nope

then its either CPU or motherboard thats broken, do you have any way to test the parts individualy? like a spare board or another CPU that fits the socket?

I don't... But I was notticing that before entering the BIOS a few days ago, it was boot looping three times to finally boot up.  It took a very long time to boot.  I'm just glad that you don't think that the problema is the GPU because that was so expensive...

no GPU wouldn't cause it not to POST, well you cant really diagnose whats wrong if you dont have anything to swap parts with tbh. not really sure what to do and im not sure wether its the motherboard or the CPU... does the motherboard have a backup BIOS that has a switch so you can swap to it?

No...  I'm thinking of buying a 200$ xeon that fits the MB and a ASUS TUF series MB, they're know for their stability...
