Ok, so a while back, i got myself the 8 core E5-2670 for my rampage iv formula, works great but as all xeons, it has a locked multiplier aka only BCLK can be increased and so i did, got it to 106Mhz, which is the max this CPU takes from what i read on the forums. Synced all cores, so the stock speed is 2.8Ghz and the turbo should be 3.5Ghz then, all cores since it's synced.

Anyway, booted up, no issues so far, loaded up Intel Burn Test and waited, CPU temps went to 55-60°C (Akasa Voodoo Venom), but i saw that the CPU cores went to 2.8Ghz and stayed there, didn't turbo up.

Does Turbo deactivate when you OC and can't be activated ot is there something else to this?

EDIT: For some reason, Turbo decided to disable itself, didn't see that before tho. But that still doesn't explain why it turbos to 3.2GHz max on all cores when i synced up all cores so that it would turbo to 3.5 on all cores...

The e5 2670 will only turbo to the 3.3 or 3.5 when oc on one core, when are cores are being used it will max out at 3.0 or 3.2 accounting for the bclk change.

Well, guess i need to up the BCLK some more :P

Any way to make atleast 4 cores turbo to 3.5?

You would need to bump up the bclk up until the base frequency is at 3.1, or about a bclk of about 115.

Guessing that won't work at all, seeing as most people struggle to get it to 106, which i didn't...or well don't have a problem getting at, also, the voltage for the Vcore was auto set to 1.25 and i lowered it to 1.15, that good? (seeing as you have the same processor aswell)
