FX-8350 clockspeed

My FX-8350's clock speed won't exceed 1.34 or 1.36 ghz. It's supposed to be able to hit 4.0 and 4.2 in turbo. The bios says so and so does the task manager. I'm so lost.

try resetting the BIOS settings

 

also set your power option to high performance

 

go to msconfig and see if you have set any power limit by accident

Power option is at high performance, and I'll try to reset my bios. I recently reset my CMOS because it wouldn't even post.

Core is at 18c in a benchmark

Sorry I'm absolutely retarded. I left it in slow mode. Hold on let me change that and see if that was the problem.

Resolved. It was the onboard motherboard slow mode switch.
