It will be used for 1080p gaming on MineCraft and Rocket League (judge me if you must)! i stream a bit and do youtube videos so i need a bit of performance for editing and stuff! What do you think?

If possible can you pick one of these that would fit me well! Im only 14 so i don't need amazing stuff but i am doing a GCSE in computing so i will need a nice PC :D

If you don't think any of these will be good for me, try and build me one! I have a budget of £999 (mum says i,m not allowed £1000) So yeah! Many many many thanks.

Edit: The one without the cooler is fine as i don't mind loud for a while until i buy a nice one!

3 option why? CPU is highly demanded in video editing or streaming and 970 is more then enough for games you wanna play on 1080 and the 1 option has no dedicated GPU so it lacks in power and still i5 might be little to weak for the task thou. Btw if you dont know how to OC CPU then i would suggest to buy non-k version of it and a i7-4970 over i7-6700 if you dont plan on having windows 10 on it (better compatibility now).

CPU i5 6600k 4,4Ghz , COOLER Dark Rock 3 from BQ, RAM 16 GB of ddr 4 2800MHz from corsair,

My friend has a 4690k and its very good for editing and streaming. Option one does have a dedicated GPU! Its a gtx 1070. If i get that one i will be able to afford a 1070 :D

I wouldn't buy a i5 4690k if you don't have a cooler, but you can always add one later.

Also dont forget the windows 10 key, that one costs.

And no point in getting the GTX 980 now when better performance and value is right around the corner.

Personally i would grab this

So you have some money over for OS key, new mouse etc and it's not overkill.

Well, i can get windows from town so that doesnt matter. The 1070 is the ideal card i would like and i prefer NVDIA because i like Shadow play and stuff! Im not a fanboy but i just prefer them. Do i really need a xeon either

In this case the xeon is the better value.

the Xeon e3-1231 v3 is like in a i5 4690 but with hyperthreading and is cheaper than the i7 4790, perfect middle ground.

It will have the editing and compute performance (for CPU tasks) and not be i7 expensive.

And about shadowplay, Windows 10 already has GameDVR prebuilt into it which is very easy to use. Shadowplay ain't that great of a selling point.

But if you really want Nvidia, change the R9 380 to a GTX 960/GTX 970/GTX 1060, the choice is yours after all.

A bit generous, i would imagine around gtx 970 performance. The GTX 1060 is said to be able to power VR and will cost about 250€ so that is great value.

Would a 6600k and a 980 work? i only play 1080p and i don't stream to much and i have a mac with a 5960x in for rendering!

yes but i wouldn't get the 980 since it's not good value (never was). Better wait for the 1070 if you really want a top-end card.

Rocket League and Minecraft at 1080p is very easy to run and that is why i don't see a need for such an expensive GPU.

Right.

The mac is weird and edited!

i think i will go 6700k and a 970 then upgrade after about a year to 1080.

Im a FPS whore. xD Nah i just want to get into games such as wicher and stuff :D

Still recommend the xeon tho.

SOrry about that! Well, the xeon is a bit more money and i cant get one in my local store but i will consider it! But wouldnt a 6700k be better as its a i7 and its clocked higher?

they're "meant" for workstations yes but there is only very slight differences compared to the i7 4790

That xeon doesnt have an iGPU (some xeons do have that though)

And it has a lower clock speed (3,4Ghz base and 3,8Ghz boost vs 3,6Ghz base and 4,0Ghz boost) and TDP (80w vs 84w)

And support for ECC memory

no the 6700k uses a different architecture, more specifically "Skylake" which does crank out more fps in games than the "Haswell" based Xeon E3 1231v3.

It will however perform similarly to the i7 4770 (i know i used 4790 before but that isnt correct since that is a CPU based on the Haswell refresh "Devil's Canyon" architecture which is slightly, slightly better) but not as good. The i7 4770 will perform unnoticably better because its boost clock is 0.1Ghz higher.

And all "K" CPUs are unlocked which means they can be overclocked within the BIOS to achieve higher clockspeeds and get more FPS.
