Does UPS Wattage limit Overclocking?

Hi guys,

I have a 405W UPS (protection + battery backup). I was wondering if the system draws more power than 405W, does the UPS supply it?

Mobo: Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H

CPU: Intel 3570K (overclock planned)

GPU: MSI GTX 660 Ti PE (currently overclocking)

PSU: Corsair TX950W (I know it's overkill)

RAM: 8GB

That's exactly what I'm wondering as well. It's an APC Back-UPS ES 700.

To my understanding, its just a battery back up for when the power goes offline, if you push more wattage than the UPS it's just going to pull it from the wall like any other electrical device.

I hope so and to be honest, I haven't seen any problems during the years I'm using it. And right now it powers the desktop/monitor, a laptop, a router, a switch, an external hdd & a lamp. So, I guess these 405W are for when battery is used.
