How to Ship a CPU

I was thinking a padded envelope and that little plastic enclosure Intel gives you? Will that be good enough? CPU is an i3 4170 so no pins to worry about.

If you have the plastic case they give you, your golden. That should work.

Since they mentioned pins i believe it's for AMD CPU's.

Id bubble wrap it with tape then would be my next best bet.

I thought you had to ship processors back in the box with the heat sink and fan? and you had to put the rma number on the outside of the package? did you get an RMA#?
