If you're planning to overclock, how about the Cryorig H7?

If not, the Shadow Rock Slim would be the quietest out of those 3.

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Which is best for performance? @Fulgrim

Out of the 3 you put in the poll, the Shadow Rock Slim.

But the Cryorig H7 beats that, and it's cheaper.

Either the Shadow Rock Slim / H7 will do fine, go for whichever is cheaper.

If you're referring to mounting hardware, the H7 does have the Shadow Rock Slim beat.

However, the SR Slim easily performs better and is quieter..

The first link you put, the Shadow Rock Slim loses to the H7 (34c delta vs 31c delta), and the H7 only loses by 1DB in acoustics.
And in a review here, it stands toe-to-toe with the Dark Rock Pro 3, which is a big brother of the Shadow Rock Slim.

Stock delta temps don't mean much. Look at oc'ed/high value temps.

The cooler you're referring to is the SR3 and not the SRP3 which are in different performance tiers. The SR3 is very similar to the SR Slim. http://www.pcper.com/reviews/Cases-and-Cooling/be-quiet-Dark-Rock-Pro-3-Shadow-Rock-Slim-CPU-Cooler-Review/Cooler-Compari

Meh, i didn't realize how much large the Shadow Rock actually is (i was looking at heatsink size). Regardless, there is only a 20w tdp capacity difference between the coolers, according to their manufacturer's specs. And the H7 is cheaper, at least on Amazon. $50 for the Shadow Rock Slim, and only $35 for the Cryorig H7.

if you're not overclocking you probably won't need a massively powerful cooler, and if you really want quiet nothing will beat a fanless cooler
