PLP Owners

So I figure this will probably be a small group but always curious.

For those that are unaware, PLP stands for Portrait Landscape Portrait, which as you can guess is the orientation of the monitors.

Generally not that popular of a setup but I generally prefer it over other configurations.

So if you have a PLP setup, post it up and maybe some of your favorite wallpapers as well!

I don't really have any recent pics as the computer is being rebuild but here is an old shot of mine.

Isn't that PLP 4360 x 1600? Either way, nice setup, way better than 3x Landscaped 1080p's. Can't wait until Dell outs there new 30" IPS. Just think, this whole setup is 1,318,400 pixels less than 4K...

Nope, the 2007s are 1600x1200.

1200 + 2560 + 1200 = 4960.

I want 4k monitors so bad.

Ahhh nice, those are rare these days! I agree, 4K can't come soon enough. I emailed Linus about 4K and he responded "we will definitely be talking about any of the 4K monitors we can find at the show (CES), and I will be trying to get my hands on one as soon as possible." Let's hope that means Linus will get Sharp's PN-K321, which is supposed to hit CES and will be hit production with 1500 units/mo...but at $5500 i'm not sure how many "unboxings" we'll see lol.

Yeah, will certainly be waiting a few years or at least a couple before I'll be able to pick one up. No way I can justify that kind of money.

a 30" 4k monitor would be heavenly...
