I have been planning this PC for a long time now and with the time tech always evolves. I am still waiting for the 1080 to finally release before I order any parts, and thats where I need you're help.

I always wanted to have the Phanteks Evolv ATX but when I came to realised that the case's maximum E-ATX MOBO support is 266mm I was shot into a spiral as The MSI Godlike that I want to include is 272mm wide. Doing my research I came across this pc build (http://pcpartpicker.com/b/HQm8TW) that had someone put a 272mm motherboard (Asus rampage V extreme) into the Evolv ATX. Should I atempt the same feat or wait for smaller X99 boards?

This brings me to my second question, with Computex right around the corner and speculations of Asus X99 boards should I be waiting for newer boards or trying to cram oversized E-ATX boards into the Evolv ATX?

for any of you that are interested in my PC specs

yeah its x99 and the same price as the 5820k.

the msi godlike or rampage are normal atx boards they fit in fine. the case even supports bigger e-atx boards that can fit 2 cpu's. its a standard. im pretty sure you confused height and width of the boards.

love that german :D
