What's the best $50 PSU.

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.91 GHz RAM: G.Skill 4x4GB 2133Mhz DDR3 GPU: AMD HD 7970 3GB SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB PSU: Corsair HX620W  Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 Case: Phanteks P400 Tempered Glass (Black) Monitor: Dell P2412H, Dell 2012H Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Classic Mouse: Logitech G203 Prodigy HDD: WD Black 3TB

What are you powering? GTX 970? Get a nicer PSU. No-GPU system? A Corsair CX450M will be fine.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Im powering an AMD X4 845 and a 750ti.

Surely there's a better alternative to a CX450.

I'm not familiar with all the under 500W PSU's but I doubt a CX PSU was anywhere close to the best option.

There's some SeaSonic units down there I'm sure.

The new CX series grey units are far superior to the green ones.

So what is the best PSU? Also I want a unit with decent cables ( aka no mustard or ketchup cables)

The Seasonic S12 or Corsair CX450M would both be good but the Corsair is modular so I would lean towards it.
