Also, i prefer if it was sold from amazon or on newegg

The polk audio psw10 is quite good with performance to price. It has RCA inputs on the back and volume and lowpass filter adjust knobs. I own it and find its a really good budget sub.

I have a question though, does it just plug straight into the back of your computer? or do you need to buy something extra

I'll prob go for this one because its a little cheaper and looks visually appealing

how do you hook up your CR3s? Do you use a aux to rca adapter or do you have a spare aux port?

Basically you need an aux port(3.5mm jack) for your speakers and sub. For a total of two needed. So, you could get a splitter that splits one port into two, or you could get an external amp/mixer like the Alto ZMX 862.

I disagree.

Is subwoofer sound quality alot better or just a little better on the dayton when compared to the polk audio sub? because the dayton is a little more expensive when compared to the polk audio sub

I see polk as 117, Dayton 130 (USD)

I own the polk, its allright, nothing great. But Im not sure how it compares within its price range, as I have not heard the Dayton

If $14 is too much to swing, look for a used Dayton.
