RAM overclocking

I have DDR 4 that's rated to 2400mhz. I've seen Digital Foundry's ram overclocking benchmarks and it looks like an easy extra bit of performance to overclock. Anyone have a guide they recommend for overclocking ram without causing instability?

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.
