Hello I have to build a whole brand new system since I am selling off my old one to my brother. Need some help picking out some new parts for a system.

Some minimum requirements I need:

-Mass Storage

-at least 32GB of RAM

-Decent CPU (hyper threading preferred)

-Sound Card + A audiophile like headphones

-Computer case and parts match and look sexy :) (would like some LED's in there as well)

-PC Case has a windowed side panel

-PC is to be quiet.

-I prefer water cooling

-Some XLR Mic with that dac I heard theres a combo or something around amazon

-Maybe some cool ultrawide monitor like the Acer Predator Z35, X34 or something of the sort.

What you do not need to add:

-You do not need to add any GPU's I am already replacing my 2 980 ti's with 2 1080's

-Peripherals are already here with me

Budget: $3600

Thanks in advance :D

^^^

Also if I should get a low-mid range laptop for on the go you can add that but its not required

Here you go. I went with the soon to be released (expected in late June early July) Broadwell-E mid range processor the I7 6930k. If you want hyper-threading then you need an I7, secondly the 6930k is expected to be an octacore processor giving you 16 threads and 8 real cores to power through with. I left the two video cards out as that was what you had said. Initially I had giving you 9TB of Mass storage (2x 4TB WD Blacks with a 1TB 850 Evo SSD). Instead I decided to change it so a quicker M.2 SSD at 256GB for a windows drive, and a single 4TB HDD (though easily upgraded to something larger if you want more than that). I also threw in a 500GB SSD to throw some things you may want on a speedier drive such as if your creating videos or something like that. I gave you a quad channel 8-stick 64GB of DDR4 @3000MHz, which if you only need 32GB you can change out for and save a couple hundred $$$. I through in a sound card, but I personally think that if you're looking for good sound you should get an external DAC/AMP; I put the pair of M50X's on there because I figured they're an Entry-Mid level Audiophile headphone (and I have no idea how much of an Audiophile you are). Lastly I put the X34 predator up there for a monitor but I personally believe its overpriced, and recommend the LG 34UC98 instead for $200-$300 less, but thats up to you in the end. I went $100 over budget, but as I stated above theres many things that you would need to make a final decision on which could mean spending more or less money on your build.

Thanks! I will keep this as a option for when its time to order parts.
