My RAM usage has been slowly climbing the longer I have my computer on. It often maxes out and causes lots of freezing, doesn't always though. I've got 16GB of RAM and right now I have firefox with one tab open and skype. In task manager RAM is sitting at 12.5gb used. Firefox is using approx 370 MB of RAM, followed by system and compressed memory with 125MB. Skype us using about 55MB. Then there's a ton going down using less than 20MB each. I've ran memtests and they come up clean.

Any suggestions?

Well it still does it even when I am completely at idle on the desktop with nothing running.

Windows 10 or 8 or 7?

Can you sort task manager by ram usage (highest to lowest) and upload a screenshot?

(When you're having the issue of course)

I actually just found a few articles regarding an issue with Killer Network drivers causing memory leaks. I updated my driver. Anyone else heard of this? Hopefully it does something. If it continues I will post a pic of my task manager ram usage.

I'm on Windows 10.

I'm on Windows 10.

I've had nothing but problems with Killer LAN drivers on both an ASUS ROG and my MSI Z97 M Gaming motherboard.

Both of my issues regarding Blue Screens on Windows 8/8.1 were resolved when I updated to Windows 10, but the Killer software is still completely iffy for me.

I just stick to the base Killer *.inf driver files and things tend to work out better.

Yeah, I have an MSI Z97 Gaming 5 mobo with the built in Killer NIC. I'm hoping that was the issue and it will be fixed with the driver update.
