Yellow black build....

so i7-4770k

Asrock z87 OC Formula/ac motherboard

four sticks of 4 gb ram from Adata 2600 one set yellow the other black.

gigabyte gtx 770 4 gb

Adata ssd 256 sx900

two 3 tb Seagate barracuda hdd

Ax860i by corair

Case is Phantek Enthoo Primo

and for now hyper 212 evo by coolermaster

Will be getting either the swiftech h220 or the h320

 

any idea's for doing up cables or color schemes and h220  or the h320?

Probably should go for an MPower or Sniper/Assasin board for a yellow/black but it's your choice

Why not one of ASUS's gold/black motherboards?

And I honestly think that an Enthoo Primo is not worth the money if you are not doing custom watercooling. I'd get an Arc Midi R2, Define R4, or at most the 750D instead.

I choose the Enthoo Primo because I want to do some custom watercooling later...but I think spending the 2500 I spent already getting close to over budget...I got the ASRock board for 250

I choose the ASRock board because I wanted to be different...because it has the features I want, and because It was also bought at a decent price at 250...

Use a yellow Graphics card like the MSI lightning or the Manli  card that Linus unboxed recently. Okay- gotta admit they are expensive but that's what you have to pay for your sins of building a yellow rig! jk

thanks kuzma...the reason I bought the 4 gb version was so I could sli in the next 6 months, and so that the card might last a little longer...that was my reasoning behind purchasing it...I did read the article and it makes sense...thanks

No problem & it makes sense   but unless you're going to go 3x then I don't really see it as worth it but yeah it will make it last a bit longer

I did look at the asus's gold black motherboards...but they just didn't have the features I wanted....as for the case i'm planning on doing a custom watercooling ....just need more money ...and i'm also looking at doing some customization on the case itself...thanks..

Just thought I might add, don't get a gigabyte 770 because you need all the memory clock speed you can to use as much VRAM as you can but the gigabyte cards are voltage locked so you're limited in you over clocking
