machine_check_exception

Go to solution Solved by T0MMEN,

The answer was my PSU, i had a 6yr old 500w psu and bought a 750w PSU. Seems like the PSU couldnt run the 1.36v overclock :)

I get that error message when im playing games. The computer just freezes and bluescreens with that on the screen, it cant be the ram cause i just tested it in memtestx86

  • Make sure your drivers are up to date
  • Get ccleaner and run the registry section
  •  Run your anti-vires system (Avast is recomended)
  • Make sure your hdd is working properly, get crystal disk mark
  • Take out all your ram and add one stick at a time

I just did those things, system clean. I have checked my ram using memtestx86 and just formated my windows. I have updated bios and gpu + sound drivers.

Yeah that might be it. Try to borrow one of a mate and try then. If you have no problem then it is you PSU if you are still having issues it might be down to something else. If it is not the psu try installing windows onto a different drive in your system as the hard drive/ ssd is dying. SSD's don't tend to have a warning is they are about to die, unlike hard drives.

I tryed to bump up the voltage on my overclock, somehow thats seems to help. I havent had any bluescreens after that. I ordered a new PSU since its anyways time to upgrade it after 6years :D
