So I've started chopping the top off my Zalman Z11 Plus Case to fit my 240mm Corsair Hydro H110i GTX.
The Radiator wouldn't fit inside the case so I'm taking some drastic measures to make it fit on top. Ive removed the plastic fins from the top and cut away at the back edge and inside front edge in order to align at least 2 of the screw holes with the radiator.

Managed to get it in just about

Pretty hefty gap here, I'll be doing plenty of dusting... and I know the radiator s mounted upside down, but it's to determine where I'll be cutting the hole into the metal subframe below....

The next step will be to cut away at the inside metal subframe to allow the cpu cooler and pipes to be fed back inside the case. My only question is, with the 140m fans being fit on top of the radiator outside the case, which would be better, PUSH or PULL.

Do I want to be pushing cool air through the radiator and into the case, or do I want to pull warm air out of the case through the radiator?
I don't know which would be more appropriate, as I don't want to be forcing cool air through the radiator which would warm up and then enter into the case increasing the internal case temp, but I also don't want to be cooling the radiator with already warmed air that would have been heated by the internal GPU and other components. It's a lose-lose situation.

Push/pull doesn't make a huge difference nor does in taking or exhausting other than warming up the interior of the case a bit. Personally I would just set it up as exhaust out the top and ensure there is more intakes volume with good dust filters to limit the amount of dust infiltration.

I will probably put a single 120mm intake on the front and can fit a spare 120mm on the bottom, and possibly use the rear 120mm as an intake as well to compensate, only problem is my pc will be sitting alongside my 42" plasma which heats my room up a good extra 3'C. So is it worth me keeping the rear fan an exhaust because that suckered will be sucking in a load of air, all be it warm air.

Depends on how the case airflow works but say having just two filtered intakes at a higher speed so more intake volume than the exhaust and that will promote positive air pressure.

Just remember that any airflow is better than no airflow and say 3C above ambient isn't very hot.
