So, not too long ago, Nokia was bought by Microsoft. It was making both Nokia and Microsoft phones.

 

Until now. 

 

Nokia, a finnish company, sold a global licence for making phones and tablets to HMD Global. It's a 10 year contract.

 

And because of that, Microsoft part is still going to sell feature phones (the durable ones) and HMD is going to sell Nokia based Android smartphones!
