I have recently bought a GAME ONE headset, and have it connected to the front audio jacks, but I have a problem. My mic usually pick up game sound when im in teamspeak or skype with some of my friends. And if i'm watching a video, even if the mic is in the upright position (muted), it seems to also pick up some sound. Do you guys have any idea of why that is happening??

It sounds to me that it's not the microphone itself that picks up the audio, but that the audio is being fed through directly to the line-in (not sure how to properly explain it).

Can you go into your audio options, and then the microphone settings to make sure that Stereo Mix isn't active or something?

In windows stereo mix as a microphone? You can use system sounds as a microphone.

~snips~

Is that Realtek microphone something that is in use? Because that's picking up noise, and I'm not sure if you want that picking up anything.

Try disabling that and see if it's fixed.

Edit: Derp'd. Thought that you were OP.

I am not OP, just showing that Stereo mix is an option and may be what you are trying to explain, that noise it was picking up was me pressing print screen on my mech lol :D
