I'm interested in using it for my build with i7 4790 (non K), and maybe later for GTX 1070 cooling.

 

I'm worried about that pump noise. I can't find any details about it, and never had experiences with those kind of pumps.

Right now I'm using Kraken X31 and it's death silent all the time. Do you guys think that EKWB pump can be compared to that?

My HDD was bothering me, since vibrations caused some loud noise, and I just pulled it out of my system. Needles to day, I like to have quiet PC.

 

So what do you guys think about that kit? For just CPU cooling it will be fine, since I can't even overlock it. But once I put my GTX 1070, I might need to buy additional 120mm rad to put in my case.

Keep in mind that I have S340 case, so 360mm rad can't be fit in there without cutting anything.

 

Questions:

1.) how loud is that pump? Are fans at 1200rpm more loud? Does this pump generate noise like Kraken X31?

2.) Do you think just that 240mm rad is fine for i7 4790 (not overclocked) + GTX 1070 (mild overclock)?

3.) What temps should I expect to have?

4.) Overall thoughts on this kit?

If anyone have some other advice what I should use as my first water cooling set up, let me know.

I would like to buy from EKWB, and as I said, I will be using GTX 1070 and i7 4790 (non K version) in my loop.

So if anyone want to select all parts I need from EKWB, I would gladly look at that
