Hi guys,

Soooooooo I have a FX-8320 clocked at 4.4GHz and a R9 270.

I am planning on getting a 1070 when it launches and switch Mobo+Ram+CPU to either 6600k or 6700k a few months later.

Will I have a terrible experience while on the OCd 8320+1070 or will I be fine? (I Ain't gonna play Ashes of Singularity, Witcher 3 and GTA V)?

well, while cpu necks are defenately gonna be a problem with the powerhouse the 1080 and 1070 seem to be, no matter what it'll CERTANLY be an upgrade over a 270 xD

but honestly, even if you cpu bottleneck hardcore, think of it like this:

the worst that can happen here is that you're running your cpu to its absolute fullest it can do while gaming, which in no way will be a worse experience than what you have now, if anything you could make use of the situations and just CRANK the details and resolution until the gpu just caps out again :P

heh, TBH I am absolutely not questioning whether the GPU upgrade will be big, I know it's a huge difference. I was just wondering how would my CPU handle the 1070.
