Question about SSD and VirtualBox

Hi, 

 

been lurking for a while but now I have serious question.

 

I have desktop PC that serves as virtualization host for about 4 machines. 

they all placed of different HDD's. 

 

1. is moving them to SSD's will improve their performances inside the machines ?

2. and can I place 2 virtual disk files on 1 SSD ? 

 

because if i do that on regular HDD it bottlenecks and I have horrible time with the performance.

1. probly will incresse performance the same way as changing to ssd on normal computer

 

2. think so, couse on HDD it need to acces every data whit the pin, but whit SSD hawe free acces at higer speeds
