Looking to get in to water cooling,

i don't want a basic AIO as once i feel comfortable i have to buy new rads new blocks ect to go custom so a expandable loop seems way for me to save money in long run

so who has the cheapest expandable AIO or cheapest custom water cooling kits (just CPU loop for now).

cheers for advise :)

if you are going to do it, then make a custom and bypass AIO all together. many times, those that use an expandable, replace a major portion and spending gobbs of cash and 2-3 survived pieces from the AIO is overpricing the experience.

start with a 240 kit (XSPC, EK, Alphacool, etc..) and then use those modular components to build your loop. if contemplating a GPU into the loop, then start with a Laing D5 pump or DDC (12watt or higher). this way you are not buying multiple parts when upgrading.

as to where? when specialtech dropped out, kinda left a hole, but overclockers uk seems to trying to fit that void in inventory.

im sure locals can direct you to a local vendor.

Get a better pump and scrap the pure water.

Demineralized water from your local grocery store is perfect for a waterloop and cheaper. Just add a corrosion inhibitor and biocide.

As for the the pump get a D5 or DDC (18w version) The DC-TL 2400 has low head pressure and will have problems pumping the liquid around when you expand your loop later on. So please don't cheap out on the pump.

CPU: i7-12700KF Grill Plate Edition // MOBO: Asus Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 // RAM: 16GB G.Skill Trident Z 3200MHz CL14

left water in as its ready mixed cheaper than adding the additives (i will be switching it out to a pastel white once my loom is up and running and working with no leaks so)

but heres new list only issue is the new pump sends me out off budget.

want to spend no more than £130 really and even thats a push i want to be around £100
